Funfact about the Solar System

The solar system is a collection of celestial bodies consisting of a star, namely the sun and all objects that are bound by its gravitational force. There are eight planets in the solar system, namely Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The eight planets orbit around the center of the solar system, the sun. There are many interesting facts about the solar system. I will explain some facts that can increase your knowledge about the solar system.

- Did you know that actually the planets and other celestial bodies when seen with the naked eye only look white or light? pictures of planets that we know have that color, and the fact is the color given by scientists is in accordance with the substances contained in the planet.
- The most beautiful photo of the planet Saturn captured by Cassini.
- The rotation of the planet venus is the opposite of the earth. Venus rotates from east to west and Earth from west to east. This means on the planet venus the sun rises from the west as opposed to the earth which the sun rises from the east.
- Jupiter's gravity is so strong that it can bend any celestial body that is close to hitting Earth. so indirectly we are protected by the gravity of the planet jupiter :)
- Mercury is a hot planet, but there's still ice inside
- The starlight that reached the earth was not the direct light, but the light from several years before. It could be that the light that exists now is the result of the light of a star that died several years ago
- The time for sunlight to penetrate the earth is 8 minutes
- Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus have rings like Saturn. It's just that the rings owned by these planets are so thin, not thick like Saturn. Uranus has two sets of rings which are located outside and inside. while Neptune has six rings.
- The highest mountain in the solar system is on Mars. The name is Olympus Mons. Its 3x the height of Everest mount.
- Saturn is slowly losing its rings and will eventually become a ringless planet.
- Just like earth, mars also has poles
- Although Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system
- Unlike other planets that rotate horizontally, Uranus rotates vertically
-Uranus is known as the coldest planet in our solar system, its temperature ranges from -197°C to -226°C
- Pluto's revolution is not even halfway around the sun.
- The sun, like the planets, also orbits the galactic center. So, we orbit the sun, which is orbiting the center of the galaxy.
- The sun is include the largest star in the Milky Way galaxy
- The rocky planets are only Mercury to Mars, and the rest are gas planets. which can't be stepped on because they're a giant gas bundle.

There are so many other facts about the solar system, if you really like things that smell like outer space, I recommend reading Carls Sagan's book. I hope this article can enlighten your knowledge, thank you.
